The motor utilizes a cadence sensor that detects when the pedals are moving. With the 10.5Ah battery and controller fully integrated into the frame, this bike feels, rides, and looks like a standard bicycle, with all the added benefits of a pedal-assist E-bike. With assistance up to 32 km/h and 5 levels of assistance to choose from, using the LCD display on your handlebar, it is easy to control the amount of power output desired. The Transit E-bike is equipped with a durable 6061 aluminum frame, Microshift 7 speed drivetrain with Shimano freewheel, higher end alloy disc brakes, 27.5” x 2.4” puncture resistant tires, and front and rear lights. (Note: Bike still operates when battery is discharged).
