The Mastercraft 1/2-HP Pool Pump Kit provides the perfect tool for draining a pool or spa, removing standing water, general water transfer or clearing out a flooded basement. Designed for temporary installation, this pool pump is ideal for removing water from basins, tanks, flooded floors, window wells, basements, pools, hot tubs and large flooded areas. Powered by a long-lasting, oil-cooled 1/2 HP motor, this submersible utility pump has a maximum flow rate of 3300 GPH (12,492 L/h). Built-in thermal overload protection prevents the motor from overheating by switching off the utility pump before damage is caused. The permanent split-capacitator motor has lower amperage, which keeps the motor cooler and helps with longevity. A carrying handle allows for easy portability. This pool pump kit includes a 25’ (7.6m) lay-flat hose, 1 ½” (3.8cm) camlock fittings and a stainless-steel hose clamp. This swimming pool pump has a removable intake screen which filters out large debris to prevent clogging. Additionally, the stainless-steel impeller resists clogs and handles solids up to 3/8” (1cm). Thermoplastic construction lends durability to this electric pool pump by helping to prevent rusting and corrosion. The pump has dual O-ring motor housing seals and a stainless-steel drive shaft and fasteners. This product includes a 25’ (7.6m) power cord.
