Take care of water levels in basements and sump pits with the Mastercraft 1/3-HP Sump Pump with Vertical Switch. Designed for permanent installation, this submersible sump pump is ideal for removing water from basement sump pits and basins. Powered by long-lasting, oil-cooled 1/3 HP motor, this electric sump pump has a maximum flow rate of 2760 GPH (10,448 L/h). Built-in thermal overload protection prevents the motor from overheating by switching off the basement pump before damage is caused. The permanent split-capacitator motor has lower amperage, which keeps the motor cooler and helps with longevity. The carrying handle allows for easy portability. The vertical float switch includes a built-in piggyback plug, fits into tighter spaces and can be used with automatic and manual functions. Cast-iron construction and a powder-coated finish provide lasting durability, corrosion resistance and greater heat distribution. This cast iron sump pump has a stainless-steel drive shaft and fasteners to prevent corrosion and breakage while increasing resiliency. The stainless-steel impeller resists clogs and handles solids up to 3/8” (1cm) in diameter. Additionally, a removable intake screen filters out large debris, preventing this sump pump from clogging. A screwdriver, hacksaw, tape measure, rigid pipe, tongue and groove pliers, zip ties, cement, and a check valve (sold separately) may be required in order to install the pump. This product includes a 10’ (3m) power cord.
